Stretching out along a great arc of sunny coastline from Galle to Hambantota, there are some of the best-known Sri Lankan beaches including Jungle Beach, Unawatuna, Weligama, Mirissa, Tallala, and Tangalle.

“ One of the greatest attractions of the South Coast cruises is the opportunity to experience the world’s largest Mammal, the Blue Whale, along with many other species of whales and dolphins. Onshore visits include the UNESCO world heritage city of Galle Fort, the ancient Dondra Lighthouse at the southernmost point of Sri Lanka as well as turtle and migrant bird conservation projects.”

Evenings can be spent at any one of the chic beach resorts that dot the southern coastline. Unforgettable sunrises and sunsets are a highlight of our southern cruises.

We enjoyed our stay at Wavelength. The pool and facilities were excellent. Breakfast is superb and plentiful. All the staff were attentive and polite. The rooms are sufficient, clean and comfortable, with toiletries provided. Just a short 200 metre walk from the beach and restaurant bars it is ideally located.

I had a truly amazing stay at the Wavelength hotel. To begin, the hospitality of the manager and the chef made our stay there truly unforgettable.
